RESIDENTIAL SERVICES – BURLINGTON CAMPUS

The Burlington campus provides Level II treatment for youth ages 13-18, and Level III therapeutic treatment for youth, ages 8-18..  Level II care targets youth with diagnoses that manifest in moderate to severe adjustment difficulties in school, home or community, which include disruptive behavioral disorders, mood disorders, conduct disorders, etc.  Level III services provide a highly structured and intensively staffed 24-hour setting that targets youth with severe conduct and emotional disorders that prevent them from functioning in multiple areas of their lives.

The Burlington campus has two Level III treatment cottages, Kitzmiller Cottage for girls and Rees-Headlee for boys.  A Level II group home is also on the Burlington campus, Craig House, which houses girls.  Off campus in Keyser is a group home for boys, Keyser Boy’s Group Home.  These residential programs are able to serve a total of 33 youth at any given time.

Referrals are made to the residential program through the WV Department of Health & Human Resources.  Services provided include case management, individual therapy, group therapy, educational services (including an on-grounds school), and a spiritual life program.
